01/12/2021 - Five Tool Youth Baseball Tournaments
WE ARE FIRED UP that Nations is now Five Tool Baseball. After much collaboration, planning and execution, Five Tool has acquired Nations Baseball to make a move into the youth market. We are excited for the opportunity to work with the Nations staff and create a culture change inside of youth baseball.
- We will operate 4 game guarantee events.
- Utilize a scoring system to track statistics and results.
- Provide Social Media coverage to promote outstanding performance.
- Follow Pitch Smart to protect young arms and promote player health.
- Format where Game 1 matters.
- Prep players for the next level each season.
The culture change will act as a mechanism to prep youth players for the move into high school baseball. We take pride in the promotion of players to assist them in reaching the next level of competition. Inside the high school ranks we utilize social media and our relationships with college coaches to maximize a player’s ability to showcase their skills on the diamond.
We are excited to work with the existing Nations staff to implement these changes and make the game better. This is a journey together that we are thrilled to begin.
01/01/2021 - Five Tool is proud to announce the acquisition of Nations Baseball.
Since our founding in 2013, Five Tool has strived to bring a different approach and focus to high school showcase baseball. That focus and direction has helped Five Tool create partnerships and provide opportunities for players to showcase their abilities. We now want to implement a similar vision to enhance the youth baseball experience and provide clubs, players and families a product that targets player development, enjoyment and health. The acquisition of Nations Baseball provides Five Tool with a group of loyal baseball clubs and families to jump start a change in the culture and format of youth baseball. Sean Dowers, Jonathan Perret and Ron Mathis will play vital roles with Five Tool as we implement our player first format of youth baseball. We are blessed to add “Baseball Guys” to our staff that share our vision of change.
John Martin will lead the tournament operations team. John’s experience in the youth market and commitment to a player first philosophy will be powerful for the youth culture. The team will collaborate nationwide with tournament directors to create a consistent seamless experience for all clubs around the country. This model will also allow us to create a nationwide data base that will provide insight into players capabilities and skills as they enter the High School market. Five Tool has more than 1200 college coaches and professional scouts that follow our High School Social Media platforms. Jeff Kahn, Five Tool’s Director of Operations, has built an unparalleled platform through social media to promote and recognize players for outstanding performance, which Five Tool is excited to expand to the youth market.
This is an exciting adventure for the Five Tool family. We have such a passion for this game that has given each of us so much in our lives. The value in youth baseball to a player goes well beyond trophies and rings. This game provides a path for a young man to become a better husband, father, employee and man. We look forward to this journey with the baseball community.
